How to Convert JPG Images to PDF (and PDF to JPG)
Phone photos of receipts, forms and homework are easier to share and file as one PDF. And sometimes you need the reverse: a page as an image for a slide or a website.

JPG to PDF
- Take or collect the images. Photograph documents flat, in daylight, from directly above.
- Open the JPG to PDF tool and upload the images.
- Arrange them in the order you want pages to appear.
- Convert and download the PDF, then check every page.
Better phone photos of documents
- Place the paper on a dark, plain surface so edges are clear.
- Avoid shadows — turn off the flash and stand so you do not block the light.
- Fill the frame with the page and keep the phone parallel to it.
- Crop before converting so pages are not surrounded by table.
PDF to JPG
The PDF to JPG tool converts each page into a separate image, downloadable individually or as a ZIP file. Use it to:
- Insert a page into a presentation or document that does not accept PDFs.
- Post a flyer or menu on social media.
- Share a single page in a messaging app as a preview.
JPG or PNG?
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| JPG | Photos and scans; small files; slight quality loss. |
| PNG | Screenshots, text and line art; sharp edges; larger files. |
Accessibility note
A PDF made from images has no selectable text, so screen readers cannot read it and search will not find words in it. For official submissions, a text-based PDF (exported from a word processor) is better when you have the choice.
